Multiple factors contributed to the choice of this design: lightness, precision of borosylicate glass -which allows me to think a new way to mount the glass on the structure- and the chance to perform on this glass a shiny coating finish, which gives it a metallic look. But it is when light is turned on that the magic happens: the shiny effect disappears, and the transparency of glass is revealed. It’s an illusion made by shapes and effects.
